Abstract:

The formation and development of the knowledge economy is actively explored in the world by scientists in different countries. The emergence and the use of new knowledge are manifested in the creation of innovative goods (services). That has its impact on the structure of the economy. Priority development is given to innovative companies. The rating of Top 100 Global Innovation Companies allows you to assess the priority trends in the development of science and technology in the world and the allocation of innovation companies by countries and regions. The article pays attention to the methodology of formation of the rating and research results for 2015-2016. We examine Russia`s national fast-growing high-tech companies rating (TechUp) and its results for 2016. We also pay attention to the most active Russian organizations in patenting of inventions and utility models for 2015-2016.
