Abstract:

Innovative entrepreneurship plays a very important role in economic modernization of a country and is one of strategic priorities of Russia. Human capital of active, competent, educated people, including students is the most important source of its development. However, the level of student involvement in innovative entrepreneurship is low enough. The article assesses the place of innovative entrepreneurship in career planes of Russian students. We show the need of more active involvement of students in innovative entrepreneurship. On the basis of critical analysis we reveal the possibilities and limitations of the mechanisms for involving students in innovative entrepreneurship. We suggest new conceptual points and applied recommendations on the activation of students' participation in innovative entrepreneurial activities. The conclusions of the article can be used in the development of programs, projects for the development of innovative entrepreneurship, and when planning and implementing activities to involve students in innovative entrepreneurship.
