Abstract:

The article is devotes to the study of the state and development of innovations in retail trade on the basis of a patent analysis. The authors consider the patents for inventions and utility models issued in Russia in 2014-2016. As a result, we draw the following conclusions: 1) there are positive trends in the the development of innovations in retail trade; 2) the technological dependence of Russian retail trade has increased; 3) vending, settlements with customers, e-commerce, data collection and processing, interaction with consumers, goods layout, security and other non-stationary trade are the main areas of application of innovations in retail trade.
