Abstract:

The article analyses the features of the current India’s position in the global economy. We study the main high-tech industries, which are the drivers of India’s economy. The article emphasizes the great success of the country in innovative, technological and macroeconomic development. We reveal the competitive advantages of a modern India’s economy in creative spheres and compare the quantitative parameters of development of India’s economy with the same parameters of its main competitors. We also pay special attention to India’s status as a global geo-economic center.
