Abstract:

The article considers the development of corporate social responsibility in the West and in Russia by the example of large, medium and small-sized business companies. We note that there are a number of certain barriers and obstacles in Russia, which do not allow CSR to develop successfully and to achieve indicators of Western companies. Today only large companies have the opportunity to successfully implement CSR principles and standards. However, Russian companies should take CSRs more seriously in order to achieve successful development in the international arena and to enter new markets. This requires not only the desire of companies, but also state’s support and cooperation between companies.
