Abstract:

The article analyzes the structure of the economically inactive population of Russia, with the purpose of revealing the reserve of labor resources. We revealed that labor reserves in the economically inactive population of Russia can be searched only in groups of borderline ages (up to 25 years, 55-70 years). We also conclude that active participation in the labor relations of these population groups requires the development of flexible forms of employment in the Russian labor market and increase the level of protection by the state against discrimination in the labor market.
