Abstract:

This article examines the impact of transnational companies on the economy of different countries, their positive and negative sides. We give examples of transnational companies; the parent company is outside of Russia. We examine the list of the world's biggest companies according to Forbes Global 2000 ranking and reveal the main orientations of Russian biggest companies. We use statistical data from the report of UNCTAD and consider foreign direct investment by groups of countries in 2005-2015 and forecasts for 2016-2018. In the end we draw our conclusions.
