Abstract:

The article is devoted to existing in foreign and domestic practice analysis of approaches to assessing the efficiency of public administration in general and performance indicators used in relation to state property. We define their advantages and disadvantages and identify their main problem which lies in separation of public administration system from state property. We advance arguments in need to develop a synthetic approach to assessing the efficiency of state property management, including market and classical methods of assessment and management, taking into account the multidimensionality of the "efficiency" category. We suggest the general economic, managerial, situational, system-functional, institutional and social criteria of efficiency in the field of state property management, on the basis of which should be organized an assessment system.
