Abstract:

Public-private partnership and corporate social responsibility while achieving a common goal – the public good – can help the state in solving social problems. A common approach to the definition of corporate social responsibility does not exist; as a result, public-private partnership can become one of the development directions of this notion. Corporate social responsibility funds can be attracted for public-private partnership projects, thereby creating new forms of cooperation between the state, society and the private sector, such as social investment, social impact bonds and public-social-private partnership. Consolidation of private and public sector resources in public interest using public-private partnership tools contributes to the harmonization of interests and solving social problems. Within the frames of these interactions the state fulfills its social functions in terms of the budget deficit, business conducts corporate social responsibility program even in terms of reduced funds and opportunities and the society receives tangible benefits.
