Russian economy has seen great changes over the last three years in view of instability of the world economic processes. The change in globalization processes and the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation forces it to take targeted measures to ensure the sustainability of its economic situation and to achieve economic growth. In view of pending problems we suggest two alternative ways that would allow Russia to take its advantage and to strengthen them. We consider the resource nationalism and reasonable protection measures aimed at stimulating domestic production and markets as those very methods.
