Abstract:

Strengthening the financial system of the country is one of the most important tasks which the state faces at the present stage. Stable economic growth requires the mobilization of necessary financial resources. The article examines the role of financial markets in the development of the national economy of Azerbaijan. We pay a special attention to the transition to a new economic system in respect of the concept of the "Strategic Roadmap." In the summary we draw conclusions and give recommendations.
