The article examines the development problems of agriculture in our country. Sanctions imposed by Russia on a number of countries on product supply make it possible for Russian producers to be more competitive. The sanctions also give an access to commercial network shops for domestic goods. These sanctions are a real incentive for domestic producers. So it makes sense to develop manufacturing of domestic high-quality analog goods, to open processing enterprises, to master technologies and to increase the number of livestock, etc.
