Abstract:

The article considers the defining conditions for the formation of agglomeration as an important factor in the innovative spatial development of the Russian territory. We examine the role of federal and regional authorities in solution of problems of regional economic development on the basis of the creation of large urban agglomerations using the example of creation of the Novosibirsk agglomeration. We define perspectives and ways to solve the problems of the creation of urban agglomerations. The information of the article may be interesting to scientists engaged in problems of spatial development of the territory, regional economic policy and competence of state structures in this area.
