Abstract:

If agriculture regulation is completely subordinated to market mechanisms, the food security may be under threat or its ensuring becomes virtually impossible. Food security is one of the aspects of agriculture multifunctionality. Internal agricultural production requires obligatory state support. The article stresses the need to develop strategies and tactics to ensure food security and basic trends for its implementation.
