Abstract:

The monograph focuses on crucial issues of the development of the virtual game simulator. The goal of the project is to create a realistic learning virtual gaming system for secret services to help experts in analyzing a learner’s behavior in emergency situations. At present, high quality preparatory processes play an important role in training future secret service specialists. Providing quality training demands the use of modern levels of domestic technologies capable of competing with foreign ones. To create a realistic teaching program requires such tasks as analyzing and identifying the "best-fit" system for creating the virtual game simulator, creation of a high quality and realistic virtual 3D space, development and elaboration of the game logic and establishing a user-friendly interface. This virtual game simulator was developed based on the game engine CryEngine 3.5.8 Free SDK. CryEngine is a powerful and professional game engine that is able to operate with state-of-the-art computer graphics.
