Abstract:

The paper discusses the contradictory aspects of chronic tonsillitis. The role of laryngopharyngeal reflux in the development of chronic tonsillitis is studied. Presented the results of research on the state of the tonsils in patients with pharyngeal symptoms on a background of laryngopharyngeal reflux. An algorithm for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with chronic tonsillitis and laryngopharyngeal reflux was suggested. The relationship between the simple form of chronic tonsillitis and laryngopharyngeal reflux was established. The questionnaire by enquirer "Reflux symptom index", the gastroenterological examination of patients with a simple form of chronic tonsillitis and laryngopharyngeal reflux were justified.
