Abstract:

In the article, various definitions of the notion “innovational infrastructure” have been proposed. Based on identification of the main elements of the innovational infrastructure it has been substantiated that the formation of the innovational infrastructure is an important condition of the innovation-oriented development of the Russian regions. Presently, the main directions of Russia’s participation in the world innovation system are the supportive measures of Russian hi-tech companies not only on the external markets, but also on the regional ones, establishment of hi-tech production facilities and research centers of international companies, development of the international scientific-technical cooperation. Based on the analysis of factors that pre-determine the innovational development of the regions, three groups of indices of the region’s innovative development have been identified: innovation resources, indices of scale of the innovative activities and the resulting indices of the innovative activities.
