Abstract:

This review paper discusses the current situation and development prospects of hi-tech innovational biotechnological production units of agribusiness industry in the Far Eastern Federal District. Certain advantages and disadvantages of the region have been revealed as for the introduction of these production facilities. The author substantiates the need for state support and making of strategic decisions for the sustainable development of the industry.
