Abstract:

The article reviews main approaches to the development strategy of financial education under conditions of transition to the informational society, application of the information and communication technologies in all spheres of financial activity. Practical examples for implementation of strategic goals and issues within the Development strategy for the Faculty of Finance and Banking of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration are given: harmonization of Russian educational and professional standards, integration of the international community standards into educational programs, actualization of educational profiles, development of skills for independent and scientific and research work of students, introduction of software products into the academic activity.
