Abstract:

The paper is devoted to the analysis of usage PPP instrument in healthcare in Peru. The author investigates the economic environment, principles and specific of PPP in healthcare sector. Moreover, the clue projects in national healthcare of Peru are explored. It is shown that PPP plays an important role in the process of modernization of healthcare system.


Highlights:

► analysis of health expenditures showed that the countries of Latin America in its development of the health system are closest to the Russian realities
► today we can already meet a new subtype of the PPP only applied only to health system projects, the so-called public-private integrated partnerships (PPIPs); the author has given his translation – "integrated public-private partnership"
► it is important to note that in countries, where the practice of PPP application is more developed (United Kingdom, Canada, Italy, and others), the authorized body for a comprehensive assessment of PPP projects is necessarily formed
