Abstract:

The article focuses on the youth employment problems. We pay special attention to employment assistance to NEFU graduates (North-Eastern Federal University). The study focuses on the analysis of employment of NEFU graduates data. We examine the youth employment problems. We analyse the employment assistance to graduates. We show the reasons for graduates’ choosing the city of Yakutsk over the countryside. Considering the youth labor market situation we develop the recommendations to support university graduates. These articles can be used for further research in the field of youth and graduates employment.


Highlights:

- long-term unemployment leads young people to social apathy, infantilism and may stress the crime situation among youth


- centers for youth and graduates employment promotion were created and function under all institutions of higher and secondary vocational education of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)


- unfavorable situation for young people on the labor market calls for measures to be taken on the part of the gouverment, in accordance with the state and republican youth policy
