Abstract:

The article analyzes current situation of Russian economy in innovation-based development context, and directions for activation of innovative process are offered as well. The important factor which represents significancy of technological development in economy is expenses on financing of innovation activity. Volume of financing of Russian science is reducing constantly and has reached 1,04% to GDP in 2008. It should be mentioned that in conditions of global economy development volatility increase of financing volume of innovation scope is observed in countries pretended on innovation leadership (USA, Japan, etc.), for purposes of securing of research and technology sector competitiveness and in prospect.
