Abstract:

The article is concerned the review of the factors for effective business of the companies in the meetings industry that are formed along with the development of the sphere of service. The author gives the evaluation of the influence of the factors of the effectiveness on the increased competitiveness of the meetings industry companies. The article pays special attention to the congress activity as the independent business sphere that is the individual segment of the meetings industry. The material contained in the article will be interesting for foreign members of the meetings industry as well as for experts that study the issues of the congress activity development.
