The article demonstrates the significance of energy-saving in Russian economy, as well as the role of energy-saving enterprises in the efficiency increase of gas industry. Based on the analysis results of the domestic and international experience in the increase of energy efficiency of gas transmission operators the author has described the directions of the introduction of technical, technological, organizational, managerial and information innovations enabling a considerable decrease of consumption of fuel and power resources for own needs. It has been demonstrated that the introduction of various types of innovations leads to organizational and technical changes in the activities of gas transmission operators, making it necessary to develop a logistic approach to business process management. For the efficient organization of innovation activities, a conceptually new model of complex management of changes appearing in the process of innovations introduction in the sphere of energy-saving at gas transportation based on the use of quality management methods.
