Abstract:

Presented article is the second part of the study of international journals in housing research. The results presented in the first part showed a high interest in further study of scientific journals issued by the world’s leading publishers on the housing problems. The using empirical and bibliographic research methods has allowed us to identify not only the scientometric indicators of journals and individual publications, but also to expand the list of promising areas for domestic researchers. The journals examined in the article reflect a balanced structure of the studies on the housing sector, as well as the depth of the social housing policy.

Highlights:

►early practical application of the residential facilities adapted for the elderly citizens could lead to the increasing of well-being and health for the significant proportion of the population
► emphasizing the issues of the housing provision for aged citizens into the priority issues of the state social policy in the Russian Federation will allow to increase the confidence in the institutions of governance significantly
►articles of "Housing, Theory and Society" journal are devoted to the integration of housing studies with various aspects of social research and policy, including issues of social security, employment, public health and the environment
►the majority of the "Journal of Housing Economics" articles reflect studies that were performed using the mathematical apparatus, thereby revealing the depth of the object researched and confirming the reliability of the findings
