Abstract:

It is shown that the use of popular definitions and characteristics of business is not sufficient for organization of effective business activity. It is necessary to describe the activity with the help of methodological schemes that disclose its meaning, reflect positions of subjects and interrelations between them. The author suggests schemes of business activity which show its complication during the transition from simple industrial company to modern corporation. The role of the corporate core is defined, the change of its form and the scheme of the business activity during creation of the managing company is shown. The author’s conclusions and recommendations may be used for analysis of the existing schemes and development of projects for their improvement, as well as for studies – training future entrepreneurs, advanced training and retraining of corporate heads.
