Abstract:

The authors analyze the international experience in the development of long-term budgetary programs. Considerable differences have been revealed in the methodological and management approaches to the efficiency assessments of programs as for the success in achieving the state policy goals and the consistency of the results on different administrative levels. The comparative analysis has enabled to elaborate recommendations for the efficiency assessment of various state programs with account of the specifics of the Russian Federation’s budgetary system.
