Abstract:
This research provides a review of Russia’s participation in disputes that have arisen within the framework of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and in which Russia has been a claimant, defendant and third party, at the same time. The author has pointed out disputable issues that have been discussed in the WTO and that affect Russia one way or another. The emphasis was laid on the new disputes that have been initiated by Russia or to the discussion of which Russia joint in 2015. Additionally, the changes of the dispute stages that occurred in 2015 have been noted. In particular, indirect benefits from Russia’s participation in WTO disputes as a third party have been presented.
