Abstract:

This article presents reference models alternative to SCOR-model that is well-known in Russia, i.e. the models of other experts specializing in the field of supply chain management (SCM). These models include Mentzer model, GSCF, CPFR models that are little-known and rarely used in Russia. New 11.0 version of SCOR has also been reviewed in this article. One of the objectives of this paper was to introduce these models to a wider range of readers and to assess the place of information and strategy therein. As a result, the role of information and strategy has been revealed within the frames of different reference models and the differences between them have been considered. The article will be of interest for the researchers and professionals working in the sphere of logistics and supply chain management, as well as for the researchers and professionals in the sphere of strategic and information management.
