Abstract:

The paper considers processes and factors which influence on the competiveness of the region. The paper reflects aspects of innovative activity in the region. The author analyses area of knowledge connected with innovative technologies and usage and processing of information, within which interaction and participation of geo informational systems in the administration of the region and gaining by it competitive advantages is studied.
