Abstract:

The great growth of Open Access is forced the academic libraries to review their functions and take part in management of publishing activity of scholars. The authors shows several key challenges for academic libraries in the new circumstances (there are the allocation funding for Open Access publications, consulting in Open Access field) and give recommendation for it’s negotiation.The paper was published 1st time here:Christine Fruin and Fred Rascoe Funding open access journal publishing: Article processing charges // Coll. res. libr. news.
