This article deals with the history of “Publication Manual of American Psychological Association” creation. The Manual appears to be the basic recommendatory source for academic writing in psychology and some social sciences using APA style in publication. There examined the impact of information overload and principle of industrial rationalization which determined the main approaches to creating of this Manual.
