Abstract:

The article is devoted to the problems of wrongful appropriations (plagiarism) in educational and scientific works.The reasons and consequences of such appropriations are considered. The special attention is paid to the issues of plagiarism detection in scientific articles and dissertations. The article dwells upon the late and anticipated changes in the procedures of preparation and defense of Doctoral and Candidate Dissertations. Theanalysis of these changes influence on the procedures of examination and reviewing of articles in scientific magazines is carried out in the given paper.
