Describes how to use the technology of Google Scholar for the measurement of the publishing activities of educational institutions in the space of Internet. Theproposed indicator is sometimes called «scientism» sites.Indicate a similar experience of Webometrics Ranking of World Universities. Classification is given of universities, which can ensure the comparability of the results of measurements due to homogeneous groups of universities.Presents the results of the measurement of scientific character to the official sites of the Russian universities. The results are interpreted with consideration of the proposed classification.
