Abstract:

The article reflects the understanding of information as rare good in network economy. The author gives his own understanding of the essence of information and specifies the kinds of informational values. Traditional notion of “informational value” which includes non-material assets and costs for creation and processing of information should be widened. In the context of network economy informational values should include information about producer, product, technology and information about location and amount of information.
