The article analyses the supply chain management subsystem and its relationships with other functional subsystems of innovation-oriented enterprises from the positions of the systems and process approaches. Based on the intensive approach to making profits, the authors developed the mechanism of transforming the supply chain management subsystem from a spending center to a profit-making one by increasing revenues and reducing costs. To increase revenues, it is proposed to use the method of continuous identification of customer needs and existing costs. The authors also propose a structure of development of a company’s market value growth strategy based on the integration of the supply chain management concept. They illustrate the interrelation between the supply chain management subsystem and the production and financial subsystems. The article presents the mechanism of creation of product innovations based on integration of the supply chain management subsystem in a company’s business processes.
