Abstract:

The article reveals the legal bases of the credit unions’ activities that predetermine their specific features as financial intermediaries, on the one hand, and as credit unions, on the other. The author reveals the problems hindering an efficient functioning of these organizations in the Ukraine’s financial credit system and also proposes possible ways for overcoming thereof.
