Abstract:

The agroindustrial complex, as well as its basic industry, agriculture, are significant spheres of the Russian economy that provide for the state’s food security as the integral part of the economic security and form the market of agricultural products promoting the development of rural territories. Every state faces the task of providing the population with high-quality and safe national products. This task became especially relevant for the Russian Federation due to some challenges and threats to the national agroindustrial complex when the problem of overcoming the food dependence of the country had become very grave. Solution of this problem is impossible without active intervention of the state. The relevance of the research subject is proven by the need to form an effective model of state support for agricultural producers for making the national agricultural products market competitive and the successful implementation of the import substitution policy at the current stage. This research allowed to identify and analyze the main factors that affect the modern agricultural market of the Russian Federation. The analysis of modern conditions for operation of the national agriculture can be used for development of the main agrarian policy directions in the next financial year. It is also necessary to take into account the modern conditions for development or modification of support measures for agricultural producers, as well as to analyze the results of the policy and to make, if necessary, its timely correction.
