Abstract:

The article researches the place and the role of bill operations in the strategies of bank liquidity management. On the example of basic classic strategies the author shows the need for formation of bill portfolio taking into account chosen strategy. In general this is innovative approach to usage of bank bills of credit. On the base of the analysis the author draws a conclusion about growth of liquidity and profitability of banks in case of right forming of bill portfolio and its usage in liquidity management strategies.
