Abstract:

The article presents the results of the study of one of the ills of the day that is usage of middle-aged people’s experience, or rather their intellectual assets, for solution of numerous tasks of the municipal territories’ economical development. In particular, it is shown that modern approaches to solution of municipal problems are not oriented towards the realization of the young generation’s opportunities and do not use the potential of middle-aged residents. The main difficulty is the need for comprehensive studies and synthesis of their results in the field of management, medicine, psychology, biology, gerontology, architecture, technical sciences, psychoenergetics, religions, specific national features and traditions, mentality, lifestyle etc. We found out that if the fifth of middle-aged people is employed in the sphere of service even part-time, it will provide for the GDP increase by 2 billion rubles per year and replenish tax revenues at different levels by more than 200 billion rubles.
