The author has analyzed existing approaches to interpretation of the concept of “green logistics”. The article presents the estimation of the issues of implementing “green” logistics in the activity of Russian commercial companies. A special attention is paid to the definition of prospects for application of “green” logistic principles during the sale, transportation and storage of goods. The author’s view of the effect from application of “green” technologies by Russian entrepreneurs is given.
