Amplifying and balancing functional contours have been considered for functions of the agrarian business systems. The dynamics of the main indices of the domestic agrarian business has been analyzed from the perspective of non-observance of causative-consecutive direction of these contours and appearance of functional contradictions leading to the necessity of structural changes in the agrarian business systems.The research results can be useful to scholars whose area of expertise is agrarian business, to the persons responsible for development programs of this sector and, finally, to the entrepreneurs working in this field.
