The article deals with the issues of the relationship between the assessment of performance of a construction company and the use of resources available in the construction company. All this should be accompanied by effective control, which will in perspective increase the profits of construction companies. The created conditions then will allow achieving a certain state of economic equilibrium in the construction company, which will subsequently lead to its higher competitiveness.
