The development level of information technologies in the region is quite weak. This factor, from one hand, determines difficulties of Internet use for promotion of mass-consumption product goods. From the other hand, thanks to support of state programs, it makes the use of E-commerce a perfect instrument for promotion of the computer equipment, software and complex electronics in our region.Approaches to the evaluation of Internet-projects effectiveness, that are in use nowadays, are based on the generalised model not applicable to some specific Internet-projects. Moreover, the use of these approached rather complicates the comparison of several projects, since the indices of each of them are specific.In the article, methodological approaches to definition of Internet-projects are developed. In this connection, the main purposes of the use of this methodology have been formulated: information about the Internet projects is systematized in a unified database, monitoring of Internet-projects efficiency is provided, efficiency indices are planned. The evaluation stages of Internet-projects efficiency are pointed out. Those include determining the Internet-project type, the set of its efficiency indices, calculating these efficiency indices for an Internet-project, creating measures for the development of this project, efficiency increase, and for its further realisation. The algorithm for evaluation of the Internet-project efficiency is developed, it is represented by a closed cycle and consists of five consecutive stages. These stages constitute a logic consequence of actions aimed at achieving the set result - determination of the Internet-project efficiency.
