Abstract:

The article dwells on the problems related to appraising the management of health care organizations. The authors recommend to conduct such appraisal by using complex analysis of the organization’s activities. The approach is based on the Balanced Scorecard system in which the considered indicators are grouped by 4 aspects. The authors note a special role of automated information systems simplifying the collection of data in dynamics. Besides the article includes an analysis of a set of selected indicators characterizing the health care organization’s performance and the quality of the rendered services.
