Abstract:

The article states the purpose to elaborate regulations which would allow for an informed choice of strategic development of economy of a region with prevalence of a certain type of economic activity. The author revealed the sectoral drivers of growth which allow developing approaches to increase stability of the entire economic system. Using the methods of analysis and synthesis of information, the author analyzed various aspects of development of economy in certain regions, which allowed to formulate general provisions of the conceptual economic model of controlling the process of elaborating basic strategic priorities.
