The article deals with the application of intermodal freight delivery technologies in logistics of freight forwarding services. The author notes that one of the main forms of freight forwarding activities on the integrated market is currently the organization of the delivery of goods in mixed intermodal systems. This activity type increases the economic efficiency of logistic transportation systems. The article explains that the key role in ensuring the synchronization of material flows in intermodal supply chains belongs to the terminal and warehousing systems which are the nodal elements of the logistics infrastructure of the goods flows.
