Abstract:

The article dwells on the problems of improving the strategy directions for the economic development of business entities in the region. A system approach to structural transformations of industrial and innovative development has been considered. The role of institutions in the industrial development has been determined and the extent of their impact on the economy and the employment problem has been assessed. According to the author, the strategic management of industrial structures on the part of the regional authorities is to be based on the creation of programs for industries development and the introduction of innovations directly in the region, with forecasting of their future. The author believes that particular specific features of the economic development vector need to be pointed out for each region.
