Abstract:

The author considers the problems of special distribution of the economic resources in regional economies under the influence of restructuring of one of the industries. The alternative ways for fishing industry development in the region are analyzed. The article also dwells on the basic conditions of the development of cluster units and on their advantages in comparison to vertically-integrated companies from the standpoint of attracting the resources into the regional economy.
