Abstract:

Under present conditions, balanced professional-qualification structure of the labor market becomes especially important. The present research has been conducted to reveal, systematize and appraise the efficiency of the existing mechanisms for adjusting the education system to the needs of the economy. As an example, higher education in Vologda Region (which is a most typical Russian region) has been considered.
